CASE STUDY
We take the miles out of your viewing journey...
Sonia and David are a husband and wife team, they have full time jobs and live in London, they are investing in Mansfield which is 227.5 KM away. The journey takes 3 hours and 20 minutes one-way and can take longer depending on the time of day and road conditions. That's a return journey of nearly 7 hours. They have busy schedules and are also parents of a young daughter. Their goal is to grow a portfolio of 10 properties over 2 years.
So that's 7 hours of travelling, not including the time taken to view one property, let's add one or more viewings, a day off work, the childcare costs, petrol and stress. To make it manageable you would probably include an overnight stay in a modest Travelodge or Premier Inn.
Its likely you would conduct a minimum of 5 viewings, possibly more, to make offers on 1 or 2. So you might have to do that round trip a number of times over a few months.
If you booked in a second or third viewing it would be approximately an extra 2 hours per viewing allowing for change of location, waiting time and the viewing itself.
Well, we've done two calculations, one based on your time being worth a conservative £15/hour and a second at £25/hour,

So, we are able to do approximately six to eight viewings for the same price it would cost you to do one viewing! That makes a lot of sense, as it allows you to leverage your time AND money.
